Season 8’s Cast of Dancing With the Stars makes their onscreen debut live on March 9, but we have some opening thoughts on each pairing for you right now! Our spunkybean panel weighs in on each couple below. One thing is for sure; the list of “celebs” goes to show that you really can’t take on this project unless you have a bunch of free time.
Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan Roberts
MYNDI–No one can blame veteran DWTS pro Roberts from taking a season off after enduring Marie Osmond the previous round, what with all the fainting, drama and nightmare-inducing doll costumes. We can only assume that former wild child rocker Carlisle, who seems pretty together and, ya know, sane, will be lower maintenance. We know that Belinda had the beat back in the 80s, but can that translate to the ballroom? (Sorry, that was bad.) She and Jonathan seem like a good match to find that out, as he usually looks great paired with the mature ladies.
