The Dark Knight Rises – A Brief History of Selina Kyle

This series ran for another 80 issues or so, and went to some weird places.  Selina had a baby, and there was some nonsense about mindwipes.  For the first time (in modern continuity) she killed somebody – the crime boss Black Mask.  The baby went away, another Black Mask picked up the mantel, and that was the end of her solo run.  In recent years, Selina’s been pretty active in the various Batbooks, becoming more romantically involved with Batman (and learning his secret identity).  Currently, she’s starring in Gotham City Sirens, a book that teams her with Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn (the Joker’s occasional girlfriend).  She’s always on the periphery of major Batman events, but she hasn’t had a starring role in quite some time.
