Next time, pending any further announcements, I’ll look at a couple of the more persistent rumors. Professor Hugo Strange has come up quite a bit, and now we’re hearing about Alberto Falcone. One of those characters disappeared from DC Comics for over thirty years, and one appeared in a grand total of two stories. But remember, you’d never heard of Ra’s al Ghul before Batman Begins, either. They could use the Ten-Eyed Man and make something great.
My favorite part of this was that Bane was in prison serving his father’s life sentence.
That never fails to crack me up – it’s a pretty sweet system of criminal justice. “Man, that guy’s hard to catch. Wait, he’s got a kid? Let’s just lock him up. You want to get a sandwich?”
In a way, it makes SOME sense. Maybe his parental guilt would lead him to turn himself in.
