Better With You–Somebody needs to tell Shana Goldberg-Meehan, this show’s creator, that people live in other cities besides New York and L.A. (her resume consists of Mad About You, Friends and Joey) This completely dull sitcom centers on the Putney family–Mom, Dad, their two daughters and respective boyfriends. One couple is living the good life in Manhattan, the other has been together 7 weeks and are already expecting a baby. Way to paint yourself into a corner right out of the gate, show. The comedy itself is listless and predictable relationshippy stuff that’s been done to death, and people like Debra Jo Rupp and Joanna Garcia deserve much better.
