The Crowded Snowglobe

David E. Kelley had Dr. Kate Austin win the same award on Chicago Hope that Elsewhere’s Dr. Craig had won years before. (And Hope’s Jeffrey Geiger had a cameo on Fontana’s Homicide.) Kelley tried his best to bring ER into continuity by having his characters comment on the happenings in that other Chicago hospital, though ER never officially played along. And on Kelly’s Boston Public, one character received a pension from St. Eligius, and then that show crossed over with Boston Legal, probably out of necessity, since people thought they were the same show. Then Legal and Ally McBeal had a full-fledged crossover.
