The Crowded Snowglobe

Must See-TV: In retrospect, it’s hard to believe we fell for such stupid branding. Well, NBC mandated multiple crossovers of its Thursday night comedy block over the years. Friends’ Phoebe was revealed to be the identical twin of Ursula from Mad About You, Lea Thompson’s Caroline in the City character appeared on multiple shows (remember when Caroline in the City was a thing?) and her comic strip was a favorite of Frasier’s Daphne. And since Frasier is firmly in St. Elsewhere continuity, we’ve dropped a whole programming block into the snowglobe.
