The Crowded Snowglobe

John Munch: Yeah, Belzer does some serious damage all by himself. While he began on Homicide, he’s also played Detective Munch on Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order: Trial by Jury, The Beat, The Wire, The X-Files, and Arrested Development, as well as on the French version of Law and Order: Criminal Intent. By the way, this means that we are not only exporting Law and Order to Europe, but also its various spin-offs. You’d think they’d just have sort of a catch-all version, but you’d be wrong. (Also worth noting: Belzer appeared as himself on an episode of Sesame Street wherein Cookie Monster was in a skit playing “Detective Munch”.)
