The Crowded Snowglobe

Tom Fontana: The producer of St. Elsewhere loves continuity, and he has made certain to keep every show that he produces in the same universe. Often this is accomplished by having Homicide’s John Munch appear. Or he’ll have characters watching Miss Sally’s Playhouse, the children’s show beloved by the inmates of Oswald State Correctional Facility on Oz. And sometimes, he just brings them on over to St. Elsewhere.
