BEST MISUSE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE–This has to go to Celebrity Apprentice winner Bret Michaels, who coined the term “discombooberated” by using it a minimum of two times during the season. On the opposite end of the spectrum, American Idol had an epic fail when they invited Alanis Morrisette to sing her 90s anthem “You Oughtta Know” with Crystal Bowersox. Instead of just rearranging the song to skip a certain “adult” lyric entirely, the producers instead forced poor Crystal to sing “would you go down WITH him TO the theater”. This merely proves that Idol producers don’t know what that whole song means, and shame on Alanis for even going along with it.
