Honorable mention goes to Childrens Hospital where Jon Hamm showed up in the final moments of the season finale to perform the big scene from Tootsie. These days, most shows promote their guest appearances months ahead of time, so it was really great that Eastbound and Down and Childrens Hospital managed to legitimately surprise us.
BEST FISTFIGHT – Sayid vs. Dogen from Lost. Those guys managed to tear the room apart in a well-choreographed fight scene that managed to look both awesome and quite realistic. Actually, Lost had a strong showing for dudes just pounding on one another. There was the Desmond of Timeline X savagely beating Benry, who had no idea what was going on. And don’t forget the final battle between Jack and Look-a-Locke. That one might not have been as smoothly executed as our winner, but considering that Jack actually hit a solidified smoke monster with a Dragon Punch, we’re not complaining.
