Asked for a weak link, Maria names Selita. As you’ll recall, she didn’t help carry the props and didn’t really contribute to editing. Selita explains that she was too busy organizing to do work that was tangible or helpful. Summer says she’d fire either Sharon or Cyndi, and Trump says they had excuses, so leave them alone. Trump asks Holly to pick two people, and Holly asks if she can bring back Cyndi, and Trump responds “I won’t fire her. Bring her back if you want.” Ha! I like the way Trump is handling this, which I never thought I’d say. Trump also says Sharon has a pass as long as everybody agrees that she’s really sick. Holly chooses Selita and Maria, and justifies Maria with her stupid complaint about the ten-second ad. Two points here. Maria is going to make the first, which is that she asked Holly to check the ad long before she actually did. Second, they essentially lost because they didn’t do anything new for their ten-second ad. A blown sound cue didn’t matter at all in this case.
