Then Curtis gives the kid a wand that lets him control the tree, which is kind of cute. Bret thinks it’s creepy because Curtis is asking kids to handle his wand in a dark room. Oh, come on. It’s funny out of context, I guess, but there are magic wands in Harry Potter (I assume). It’s not like the team actually chose to introduce unnecessary phallic symbols to the task. Grow up, Bret! (This from a man who giggled when Selita said “boob” a few minutes ago…) Michael’s main role, by the way, seems to be to stand in a robe and not speak. Blagojevich wants to add more smoke, which is giving poor Goldberg fits since he’s already wearing a giant tree costume. At this point, nobody can see and Goldberg can’t breathe.
