Celebrity Apprentice Season 3, Episode 6

And now it’s time for what might be the shortest Boardroom of the season. That’s right, we’ve arrived at a place where 30 minutes is considered “short”. Trump leads by thanking Trace for his time and asking Sharon how she’s feeling. She feels good, in case you were concerned. Cyndi raves about Emily’s talent. Maria is impressed that Cyndi knew what she wanted but does not like how Cyndi treated her. Trump asks if Cyndi took advantage of Maria’s great sense of style. I’ve said it before – I really like Maria. She seems much nicer than I would have thought, she’s been good at the tasks, and she’s not getting caught up with Holly and Summer’s line of crap. Maria is awesome. However, she sometimes dresses like a crazy lady, including when she spent most of an episode wearing a red doily on her head. I don’t know that her personal style fits country music at all. By the way, she’s wearing a chunky necklace in the Boardroom, and the fact that I notice it or even know enough to call it “chunky” means that somebody on TV has strong feelings one way or another about that style. Maybe it’s Lorelai Gilmore, or maybe it’s somebody who was on Project Runway. The point is, there’s a reference I should be making here, and I can’t quite get to it. I’m crossing my fingers that Myndi can come up with it and insert it here.  (I’m guessing that particular bit of vernacular came courtesy of Project Runway.  And, also, what you just said about Maria’s fashion sense not exactly being very “country” is how Cyndi should have phrased things earlier, when she was saying a big N-O to Maria’s wardrobe for Emily, rather than a flat-out insult.–Myndi)
