Tump asks Sharon if Cyndi ever asked her for help, and Sharon confirms that she did. He asks Goldberg if they had a disadvantage in this task, and that seems like a no-brainer. Because, again, this is Sharon’s actual job. Goldberg says that while they were under the gun a bit, his team has Bret to back them up. He then seals his fate early on by saying, “As moronic as it was for me to take over task management on this one…” and then makes it worse by saying he delegated “95%” of the task to Bret. Trump calls him out, and Goldberg admits he may have been exaggerating a bit.
