Celebrity Apprentice: Season 3, Episode 7

Here’s something I wonder. Is Donald Trump a good dad? I mean, I know he’s weird and gross and boorish and sometimes creepy, but sometimes I feel a little bit of affection for the guy. Maybe it’s just Stockholm Syndrome, but at times I think he’s just been so rich for so long that nobody dares to tell him when he’s not acting the way people do, and as a consequence, he’s never aware that there’s something wrong. But how do his kids feel about him? It always seems to me like Don Jr. is desperate for his approval, while Ivanka is just five kinds of awesome. But there does seem to be this reciprocal affection, which makes me think that they might have grown up in a weird environment, but they knew they were loved. I can’t help thinking about this every time I see Barron. I’ve watched that kid grow on this show, and I just wonder what the deal is. I officially think too much about this show. (Barron looked sort of robotic for being, what, three?  After seeing Trump on The View once saying that if Ivanka wasn’t his daughter that she’d be the type of woman he’d date, I don’t doubt the is love there.  The question is, what kind?”–Myndi)
