Celebrity Apprentice: Season 3 Finale “Babymaking Dress”

You know, I like Bret better anyway, but I wish they would at least keep up a pretense that the winner is going to be based on merit.  (I agree with you…it’s not like she whipped his butt on the task, or the season, depending on your angle.–Myndi)

Bill reminds us that Holly raised more money than anybody in the history of Celebrity Apprentice, even though Piers Morgan actually raised more total money over his season than she did and that a big hunk of what Holly raised was actually raised by Sharon Osbourne. Nobody mentions any of that, though. What, we’re going to start getting accurate at this point in the game? Joan and Bill argue about whether the popular choice is the right one, and Joan comes out and says “If this were a normal show, it should be Holly”. And again, I don’t necessarily agree that Holly was better over the season (granted, she didn’t have the lows that Bret did), but to just come right out and say that Holly was better but she shouldn’t win is really irritating to me. I think it’s really easy to make the case that Bret did a better job this season, myself. If you want to make the case that Bret should win, then make that case rather than declaring your vote a sympathy vote and diminishing the whole thing.
