Celebrity Apprentice Season 4 – “Are You Talking About, On This Planet?”

Mark and Richard go off the get the props, and they discuss the fact that Busey is playing the grandfather and they’re nervous about that.  Mark says they “need to beat that weirdness out of him”.  The rest of Backbone sets up in the loft where they’re filming.  Lil Jon seems to have a really clear idea of the space and what needs to go where.  That’s not as easy as it might seem, so good for him.   John says Lil Jon has “directed some of the best videos of all time”, and I’m pretty sure that’s not true.  I mean, he’s directed videos, but I can’t actually remember ever seeing one.  Which is not to say he’s not capable, it’s just sort of like claiming that Rob Thomas wrote some of the greatest songs of all time.  Then it’s Lil Jon and Meat Loaf brainstorming, which is kind of awesome.  Busey keeps interrupting, until finally Meat Loaf and Jon tell him to leave them alone so they can talk privately.  They then stand six feet away from him.  Are they shooting this in Monica’s apartment from Friends?  Remember how the acoustics in there were such that if one character talked about something private with another, the people standing three or four feet away couldn’t hear them?  Am I the only one who was bothered by that? It’s pretty funny that those two keep walking away whenever Busey approaches them.
