We then see that Richard and Mark got a purple couch, which Lil Jon hates.  Grandparents don’t have purple couches!  Mark first says “that’s pink to me”, and Lil Jon emphasizes that whatever it is to Mark, it is actually purple.  Mark says “it reads pink”, which is great.  First, unless he has seen this couch on film, he has no way of knowing that.  Second, I am seeing this couch on film, and he’s wrong.  It reads purple.  It looks like somebody hunted Grimace for his pelt.  Mark insists in an interview that it’s pink and that every grandmother he’s ever seen has one.  Go for floral patterns next time. Grandmas love floral patterns!  Finally, they cover the couch with a blanket and move on.
