At least the celebs were excited to be playing for their respective charities, and none was more so than Raven Symone. I would sure hate to play against Raven in a game of Pictionary. I have a feeling she’s downright vicious. The best thing was that the game itself was left intact. There were two initial rounds, enabling four teams a chance at the endgame in the hour. The winning teams of the first two rounds then went head to head to get there. The only notable difference to me was the rounds were accelerated a bit (point values doubled and tripled in record time) in order to cram in three rounds. This led up a good old fashioned Fast Money Round for $50,000. There is nothing that makes me happier than a round of Fast Money. This one came down to Joan and her ever-present daughter Melissa (in the cutest dress I’ve seen in months!) playing for the dough…and they nailed it, which was a nice way for the first show to end.
I’d like to say it’s fun for the whole family, but, well, “penis”. It got solid ratings for the network, so let’s just watch and see how it does in the coming weeks, when the level of celebrity will have its peaks and valleys, to be sure. And, no, that was not a Kim Kardashian joke…until now.
In closing, let me leave you with the absolute funniest moment in the long history of the Family Feud franchise. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT enjoy a delicious beverage while watching, unless you want it all over your keyboard.
