Dancing With the Stars–Performances Week 3 (Mar 24)

Denise Richards and Maks (16/30): Last week’s dance was called “entertaining” in the recap, but I think that might be taking it a bit far.  Maks dressed like Carmen Miranda in rehearsal to loosen Denise up.  During their samba, Maks completely guided her with his body throughout the dance.  The crowd reaction was subdued at best, which allowed us to gauge Denise’s popularity.  Len was unimpressed, but tried to be nice.  Bruno said it was going backwards, and there was no party feel.  Carrie Ann noticed Denise’s fear, which doesn’t say much for her as an actress.  That should be the one part of this she’s able to handle.  But, I think those of us who saw her as Christmas Jones in The World is Not Enough know her range is way limited.  Maks looked super frustrated tonight and I feel a little bad for him.
