Dancing With the Stars–Performances Week 3 (Mar 24)

Holly Madison and Dmitri (17/30) Holly was excited to “learn how to shake her ass” this week for the samba.  Why does she insist on wearing tube socks with her dance shoes?  It’s like I’m watching an Eight is Enough re-run but with more silicone and fewer precocious 10-year-olds.  Oh wait, I take that last part back; both Holly and Dmitri had temper tantrums in rehearsal.  Holly thinks Dmitri wishes Jewel was back.  She sold the sexiness of the dance better than Denise but every step was so painfully deliberate and you could see her counting steps.  Carrie Ann called it “disjointed” and noticed what I did, which is that she was basically dragged around the floor.  Len made what I like the call The Susan Lucci Analogy, saying Holly was like a match, “hot at the top, wooden at the bottom”.  Bruno made a boob joke about how much there is to look at on the top shelf.  Classy…and another surprisingly hetero comment for Bruno.  Then again, she’s certainly put it out there on display. Dmitri all but admitted in the Samantha interview that he’s missing Jewel and Tom commented “I’m sure Holly feels very reassured now.”  Hardest working man in showbiz, people!
