Dancing with the Stars: Performances, Week 6 (Apr 14)

Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer (16/30) – Is it OK that I don’t like Lacey? I gave her a chance, and she just gets on my last nerve. (I go back and forth on her, but my husband is firmly in your camp–Myndi) Their rehearsal footage is full of talk of farting and allusions to masturbation. So, you know, it’s pretty much like all of my conversations. Steve-O’s cute little dog, Boogie, comes to practice and makes me like Steve-O better. (“Oh, Boogie. If I could only love the Rumba the way I love you.”) Their Rumba does not make me less confused as to what a Rumba actually is. This isn’t actively bad like some of their other dances. Steve-O is trying this time, but the choreography is pretty rote, and there are long stretches where he stands there watching Lacey dance. Like I said, not bad but it just seemed aggressively “meh” to me.
