Dancing with the Stars: Performances, Week 6 (Apr 14)

And here are our dancers, in no particular order. Oh, wait. I’m listing them in order of score, so I guess that is a particular order. Sorry.

Li’l Kim and Derek Hough (28/30) – Well, they’re dressed as a slutty prison guard and a convict. One would think that would be uncomfortable for Kim. They also go to a 50’s-style diner and learn what that era was all about. Presumably they skip over segregation, polio, and the highest suicide rate in American history. That’s not really Jive, man. Oh, so you probably guessed from the costumes that the song would be “Jailhouse Rock”. I feel like that song turns up on this show every season. As stated, I’m not a Jive fan, but this has great energy. It’s really fun to watch, with some nice twists and tosses. They both look exhausted when it’s done, and Queen Latifah is very happy for them. (Nice plaid shirt, Queen.  Way to fend off those lesbian rumors!–Myndi)
