Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas (26/30) – These two are adorable practicing for their Rumba. Also, Shawn missed her prom, so Mark throws her a private prom complete with corsage. Awwww. Hey, I missed my prom too! Not because I was ballroom dancing on national television, of course. Mostly because girls thought I was weird and avoided talking to me. Anyway, their Rumba is very elegant, and takes the risky move of beginning with Shawn dancing solo while Mark watches. The Rumba is one of those dances I can’t put my finger on, though. After eight seasons, I just don’t think I could necessarily pick a dance out as being a Rumba. It’s really good though, with nice lines and solid work throughout. There’s a part were it looks like Mark is dropping Shawn, but it might just be the weird flow of her dress that confused me. All in all, I thought this was really good.
