It was a pretty solid night for the pro performances. We got some adorable backstory on many of our pros, like how old they were when they started dancing (At 10, Damien was an old man) and how Derek, Mark and Julianne were referred to as the “Ballas Brat Pack” and won pretty much every trophy ever made. Maks had an illustrious acting career with key roles like “mushroom”and “tree” before he turned to dance. Also, competitive ballroom is a little like rollerderby. Dancers are evidently quite violent. The next generation of ballroom performed, including former Ballroom Kid champs, Brandon & Brittany. Don’t ask me which ones they are, because I have no idea.
