Maks apologizes to the audience, saying he lost his cool and he wants to go back to being cool, making faces that let us know he thinks he sounds like a moron. Brooke asks if he wants to say anything to Carrie Ann, and he says “Let’s do our jobs. I’m trying to do mine.” Brooke lamely responds “fair enough” before throwing it to Tom who says, “so, being cool lasted 12 seconds.” Ha!
We next meet 9 year old Emily Bear, who started playing piano at 2 and composing at 3 and who has performed at the White House (she has a picture with Dubya to prove it!), Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. We then are introduced to dancing couples Kyle (11) and Sophia (10) and Erik (10) and Rickie (9), who are more excited to be on DWTS than to have won a bunch of dance titles. Oh, so I guess Emily will play the piano while the two couples dance.

I wonder if Mark feels any guilt or embarrassment b/c Bristol clearly deserved to go weeks ago, while others were shown the door too early in the season.
