Perhaps predictably, Bristol and Mark are announced as safe, just to set up a dramatic showdown for Brandy at the end of the hour. Still, there’s no way Bristol should be in the semi final. It’s down to Brandy versus Kurt and Brooke asks Bruno about Kurt, who he says is a true gentleman with a great attitude, then calls him an American Idol. Carrie Ann takes a second to say she has always had respect for all the pro dancers (in between calling Brandy exquisite) and says she hopes Maks will “let it go”. He pipes up that he has before Brandy puts her hand over his mouth, exasperated. Kurt and Anna get the boot, which hardly seems fair considering EJ’s out of the country this week and couldn’t vote. They get a standing O, and Kurt thanks his wife, his SEVEN kids(!) and Anna. Everyone cheers “MVP!”, including the whole cast, which tells me that Kurt really is as nice a guy as he seems.

Un-frikkin-believable! Kurt and Anna get the boot, yet Bristol gets to stay So, so wrong!
I wonder if Mark feels any guilt or embarrassment b/c Bristol clearly deserved to go weeks ago, while others were shown the door too early in the season.
