They are not even messing around when Tom and Brooke kick off the show by revealing the fates of the three lowest-scoring couples. There’s a clip package of the three, which proves once again that I will never hear “Final Countdown” without thinking of GOB Bluth’s magic act. And then, a miracle happens, and Kurt and Anna are safe! Well, my hour of tension turned into six minutes. Bless your heart, Tom Bergeron. Kurt and Anna freak out, and Anna even gives him an Elaine Benes “Get out!” shove. Bristol and Mark are also safe, and they freak out even more. Jennifer gets lost in the dark trying to hug them. Derek and Jennifer, however, are still in jeopardy. That’s a shame. I think I’ll switch over to worrying about them.
