Len loved her lines and the atmosphere they created. Bruno says they had great emotional depth and acts out part of the dance. Carrie Ann calls her dynamic and ridiculous, and that second one isn’t necessarily a compliment, but that’s how she means it. I think. She gets a perfect 30.
Jennifer Grey and Derek (60/60) – Last week, they got the first perfect score of the season. This week, they’re excited that they’re dancing the cha cha to a song that they actually practiced to earlier in the season. It’s really short training footage, so I assume Jennifer had no physical or emotional injuries this week. Jennifer starts out at the judge’s table, feeling each one of them up in turn. Then she pulls Derek to his feet, and once again, I am astonished at how good she is at this. It’s such a solid performance without any tricks to hide potential mistakes. It’s really good.
