Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With The Stars, Season 12, Performance Week 4

Chelsea & Mark (26/30) –Mark is wearing the freaking Sorting Hat for their dance to the theme from Harry Potter, and sporting his best British accent, too!  Just as Mark promised, it was very traditional in hold, but much more ambitious and “fresh” when they broke apart.  Len started with a compliment to both of them, but then lost his mind over how young Mark insisted on making a 300 year old dance.  Bruno said it was the best of the night technically.  Carrie Ann agreed with Bruno’s assessment.

Hines & Kym (25/30)–Have I mentioned how hard it is, as a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, to enjoy Hines Ward of The Pittsburgh Steelers?  But he’s such a doll!  Their paso was set to a piece of music I cannot name or tie to any sitcom or commercial, so I’d love if someone wants to tell me what it was.  (The best I can do is “80s action show”.  It’s not the theme from Simon & Simon, is it?)  It was a strong, aggressive routine, but there were a few tentative moments from the wide receiver, at least to me.  Half the Steeler team was on hand to cheer him on.  All three judges just kind of gush all over the place.  He’s in a zone, y’all.
