He’s partnered up with Lacey Schwimmer, who finally stopped irritating me last season. Let’s see if she can keep that up. He’s glad to have an American partner, because he hasn’t forgotten the Cold War. Hey, I am not going to sit quietly while shots are taken at our favorite Russian!
They’re dancing a Foxtrot, and while his footwork is decent when it happens, his arms and posture are a mess. And some of his moves are just disastrous. There are finger guns, people! Finger guns! He seems to have no idea what to do in hold, and Lacey has to contort to match up to where his arms are. His rhythm is off, and Lacey does her best to cover for him. But it is not good. (It was not. However, I find him very funny, cute and charming. I really don’t want him to go first. But he probably will.–Myndi)
