It’s Ralph and Karina vs. Hines and Kym. They are dancing to “Boogie Shoes”, a song for which I have a completely irrational hatred. Hines and Kym go first, and like always, their dance is clean and energetic. Ralph and Karina dance to “Mustang Sally”, and the footwork is not great. Ralph stands still a lot. It’s got more power moves than the first one, but it’s not as well-executed. All three judges pick Hines and Kym, so they move on.
Now it’s Kirstie and Maks vs. Chelsea and Mark. Chelsea and Mark do a nice job, which you knew would happen. Mark is maybe doing too much of the heavy lifting, but it looks cool. Kirstie and Maks end up dancing to that one Smash Mouth song. Not that one, the other one. For a short dance, Kirstie is stationary for too long at the beginning. But one she gets moving, it’s actually good. Chelsea’s is definitely the better of the two. The judges agree – it’s unanimous for Chelsea and Mark.
