Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (54/60) – She did really well on her Tango last week. She and Maks argue a lot in rehearsal, and I can’t tell how much of it is them just screwing around and how much of it is them wanting to smack one another. She seriously screams at him at one point before storming out, and we don’t get to see the traditional “making up” footage.
First, it’s a Viennese Waltz. This is the kind of dance that’s good for her, because you don’t need flashy choreography to make it look pretty. It’s all about the connection and hitting the lines. There are some nice bits in here, but sometimes her arms are really a mess. It seems like Maks has to search for her hand far too often. The footwork is quite good though. All in all it’s good, but her arms bother me.
