The malfunction came when poor Brooke was trying to introduce a clip package featuring Our Pros and she just totally biffed it. She giggled and we plowed ahead, but something feels different now.
There were three musical numbers tonight, two of which were done by One Republic. “Good Life” featured Lacey and Dmitry dancing beautifully, and, man, there’s some awesome chemistry with those two! “All the Right Moves” was accompanied by this new DWTS Troupe we’re being force fed. Their costumes made me think of the movie Wild, Wild West and for that, I may never forgive them.
“Teen Sensation” Selena Gomez & The Scene did ”Who Says”, which is a Disney girl power anthem for the ages. Selena has her own sparkly mic with her name bedazzled on it. Great, now my daughter’s going want one. Her bright red cocktail dress was covered in origami cutouts, perfect for The Ballroom, but still distracting. Chelsie & Mark’s dancing is awesome, though.
