Susan Lucci is introduced by way of an All My Children clip in which she slaps someone. Excellent. She says in her package that she’s scared to death. She’s in amazing shape, but she does look like she could be snapped like a twig in some spots. The dance is alright, but she’s sort of rigid and clearly just trying not to screw up. Bruno says she’s a gorgeous lady, but the cha cha cha needs a slut. Nice, Bruno. He points out where she lost some steps. Carrie Ann says she looks amazing but also frail. Susan’s surprised, but takes it well. Hey, it’s true. Len says it was neat and precise, but too careful. Before heading backstage, Susan decides to take Bruno’s slut suggestion and throws herself at him immediately. Backstage, she says she just wants to do better, and her eagerness is alarming to me. But, she’s an icon and she’ll get a ton of votes, so her three 5’s for a total of 15 are nothing to worry about. Oh, did I even mention she’s paired with Tony? He of the blindingly white veneers. Well, he’s there too.
