Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer (15): In rehearsal, Steve-O is stressed out. So Lacey gets him a clown costume, and we find out he began his career as a circus person. Or a carney, more likely. Dressing as a clown does not make me like you more, by the way. Hey, you know when I said there wasn’t much difference between a good Lindy Hop and a bad Lindy Hop? Turns out, I was wrong. It’s a mess. This is what it looks like when joy dies. Between his own limitations and Lacey’s tendency to ignore what should actually be happening in the dance when composing choreography, it’s just bad. Wow.
