Joanna Krupa – The Polish supermodel and former Juggy Dancer on The Man Show had another ABC gig
this summer. She was Terrell Owens’ partner on The Superstars, in which athletes and professionally attractive people paired up for beach-themed competitions. And here’s what I learned from that show – Joanna Krupa is really hot but also really mean. Seriously, she made people feel sorry for TO, and that is not an easy sell. Oh, also she’s bad at everything. She placed in the bottom every time, was eliminated on the first episode, and only came back when injuries forced out other contestants. Her partner is Derek Hough, and people love him. He’s good at dealing with difficult partners (Hey, Shannon Elizabeth! Feel like crying? Of course you do.) and he’s a popular pro. Models haven’t done great on this show (with the exception of Brooke Burke, who was more of a TV host than a model), with at least a couple of first-week eliminations among their number. This is one show where hotness alone won’t carry you far. And if she treats Derek the way she did Terrell, she’ll be attacked with torches and pitchforks. Final analysis: I predict her as the first injury of the season.
