Chuck Liddell – The Iceman himself, Liddell is probably the Ultimate Fighter best known to the general public. He has a bestselling autobiography, and he hassled Johnny Drama on Entourage. He’s also beaten Season One Celebrity Apprentice contestant Tito Ortiz a couple of times, and this may be the first time in spunkybean history where a cast member of one of our shows has brutally beaten somebody from a different show. Except for when Elizabeth Mitchell beat up Greg Grunberg. (Note: This probably did not actually happen.) Liddell has a purple belt in jiu-jitsu, but I don’t think he’s exactly light on his feet. I’m not convinced that Mixed Martial Arts automatically translate to ballroom dancing – boxers haven’t done great on this show either. Plus, he’s pushing 40, which in Ultimate Fighting years is about a thousand. I think he might have a fanbase of guys who get forced to watch this show by their girlfriends, so while he would seem to be cannon fodder, he could make it for a while at least. I hope that’s the case, because his partner this year is my DWTS obsession, Anna Trebunskaya. I thought for sure she was going to miss this season when they added another Anna to the cast, but that is not the case. Now I’m pretty much stuck voting for him whether I like him or not.
