The first semi-final couple? After Tom and Samantha run through an alarming bunch of stats, it’s Joanna & Derek, which seemed like a pretty safe bet. Before we head to break, we get a sneak peak of a collected Michael Buble and an anxious Susan Boyle (separately) waiting backstage to perform. Interesting. Also, a tease for Dance Center, which makes me happy as usual. Best recurring reality show bit in the biz right there.
After an extensive recap of last night’s dances and some backstage reaction, we’re finally ready for some singing from Michael Buble. It’s a song called “Haven’t Met You Yet”. You either enjoy his retro-pop vocals and cocky charm or you don’t. I like the fact that Maks and Cheryl as well as Jonathan and Anna come out and dance along. The guys have tux shirts and pants on with undone bow ties, which they both look beyond hot in. The ladies look lovely as well.
