And now, Christina Aguilera does a musical number to plug Burlesque. After Conan, it’s the second time I’ve seen her in two nights, and that’s a little much. And for a movie that seems to be about pretty ladies dancing and not wearing much, I have a shocking lack of interest in this thing.
Next, we have actual dancing. They’re each going to do their favorite routine which the judges will compare to one another, and then an “Instant Cha-Cha Challenge”. Cool.
Kyle and Lacey are up first, and they try to decide their favorite dance, and settle on their Tango. This one was pretty good. It doesn’t really fit his in-show image, since he’s kind of a grown-up in this one. That’s actually what makes it a good choice, though. He ‘s doing something besides being goofy. It’s a solid dance with some really nice moments. There are times when I think he’s a little too intense and he’s moving bigger than he’s supposed to, but a nice job.
