Kim’s “bionic booty” returns in their salsa for her solo, which was a little long, maybe? The dance is really entertaining and well-executed regardless. Bruno quotes that stupid Flo Rida song, he’s so excited. Carrie Ann says the solo was a little “flailing”, but it was great overall. Len says Kim and Salsa go together like “spotted dick and custard”, which is apparently an English dessert. (27)
Ty Murray and Chelsie (46/60) I’m still getting over the footage of Ty in his leopard print robe at home with Jewel. Their Argentine tango looked to me a lot of the time like Ty was kicking his own ass. He’s just not smooth enough to pull off the whole mystique of that dance. Bruno points this out. Carrie Ann commends him on his improvement, but didn’t adore it. Len actually thought he captured the flavor of the dance, but it’s sort of a backhanded compliment, because he calls it “your best dance”, which is all relative, of course. (25)
