In the obligatory segment about how the cast has already bonded, Niecy says she’s the mother of the group who encourages all her “thin, beautiful children” to eat. Pam interviews from her specially lit corner of the rehearsal studio. Seriously, that’s basically the only place you’ll ever see her interviewed, other than on stage. I’m a little sad to learn that Erin and Kate text all week, because I like Erin. They’re a big, happy family, and no one wants to go home, blah blah blah.
Who’s coming back next Monday? Pamela and Damien. And her lighting crew.
Back from break, we’re down to the final three couples. Jake and Chelsie wait with Buzz and Ashly and Kate and Tony. First in the bottom two? Buzz and Ashly. And then it’s Jake and Chelsie, which means evil, horrible people are continuing to vote for Kate just to piss me off. At long last, Buzz and Ashly are eliminated. He looks very sad, and I feel bad, mostly because I heard rumors that he needed the cash. Not that he says that, of course. He says he did it for “elders” and for the space program. Tom thanks him for being on the show, and it’s actually quite touching. Bye, Ashly. Glad you’re back in the fold regardless. Maybe this whole “double score” gimmick can finally rid us of Kate next week? Who knows. In the meantime, why not grab a lovely “Free Tony” t-shirt and join the movement?
