It was only a matter of time until The All Pilot Project was presented with a potential coat rider of critical darling Mad Men. Frankly, we’re impressed with the cast that was assembled to do it, even if the final project leaves a little something to be desired, at least for now.Trust Me

The Premise: Art director Mason (Eric McCormick) and copywriter Conner (Tom Cavanagh) work their way through the dog eat dog world of advertising at a fictional Chicago agency.
The Personnel: TV favorites McCormick (who would have more cache had Will & Grace ended about three seasons earlier), and Cavanagh (who has perfected his perennial man-boy schtick, while dazzling the ladies with those baby blues) return to series work, and they have a winning chemistry. Monica Potter (aka The Poor Man’s shorter, blonde Julia Roberts), Griffin Dunne and other familiar faces round out the cast.
