The All-Pilot Project: “Superstars of Dance” & “True Beauty” (Jan 27)

The contestants are enjoyably bratty, but not really interesting enough to hold my attention. Also, they aren’t nearly as hot as they need to be. If people think they’re competing to be the most beautiful person in America, they need to be distractingly good-looking. So people who aren’t really that attractive are being judged on a really shallow idea of what constitutes inner beauty. And thus, I wonder what the point of it all is.
