While the legal thriller is best known for Glenn Close’s performance as ruthless lawyer Patty Hewes, it’s also got a reputation for casting beloved comedic actors as total creeps. This is a show where Martin Short will completely freak you out (even without the Jiminy Glick fat suit). I’ve compiled a list of some of the funny people who’ve gotten their hands dirty in Damages.
Garret Dillahunt – Dillahunt has long been a spunkybean favorite, and he’s currently showing off his comedic chops on Raising Hope. But back in the first season of Damages, he played the rather imposing attorney Marshall Phillips. While he doesn’t really get his hands dirty during his appearances, it’s still weird to go back and see the man we now know as Burt Chance being professional and speaking correctly and shutting down Ray Fiske (Zeljko Ivanek) with a glare.
