There has been a tremendous amount of hype and promotion for the new one hour dramedy Glee on FOX. In my estimation, it lived up to the advance press, and is a quirky and unique show that combines elements of Fame, Freaks & Geeks, Bring It On, Election and even American Pie to deliver a funny, heartwarming and knowing tale of a high school glee club forming in a small Ohio town (because, to anyone outside Ohio, that’s all we have in my home state. But I digress.)
