This was such a great season finale. It had a perfect combination of plot development on both the workplace and relationship fronts. After a season of Jim and Pam like longing, it appeared Andy and April would finally begin dating. That is until Andy, in a rush to go home for his guitar so he can help Leslie out by filling for the titular guest star at a kids’ concert, crashes his motorcycle. This lands him in the hospital, being tended to by a newly-single Ann, who kisses him. When April comes to visit, Andy can’t help but spill the beans. April turns and walks out.
