30 Rock — Looks like Tina Fey is a fan of the Real Housewives shows, as this week gave us a full-length episode of Queen of Jordan, a dead ringer for Bravo’s franchise. As tends to happen on any good reality show, Jack Donaghy was the victim of the most awkward moments of his life, including a possible violation of his “rectal integrity” and his ignorance of the fact that “The DL” doesn’t just mean “The Disabled List”. A desperate Jenna staged her own intervention to get more airtime, Frank reunited with the teacher who seduced him when he was in eighth grade (special guest Susan Sarandon), and Liz had to be warned multiple times not to do impressions of other races. Our favorite bit, aside from Tina’s dead-on reality show speech patterns, had to be the chyrons identifying the cast – Jack was “Tracy’s Gay Boss”, Kenneth was “Elderly Page”, and Liz was “Another Person”. If NBC ever wants to replace Outsourced with a Queen of Jordan spinoff, we would squeal with glee.
