Traffic Light–We were treated to some fun guest stars on this episode…Larry Wilmore (as Mike’s boss), Blake Anderson (as the weird mini-mart employee who thinks he and Adam are BFFs), and Kathryn Hahn, who played Callie’s inappropriate, kind of slutty sister. She pulled down her sundress for Adam to put sunscreen on her back (and reveal her complete lack of undergarments), then told stories about Callie’s sex life pre-Adam. Next, she hooked up with Ethan on the side of Mike and Lisa’s house. Classy! We hope she comes back soon.
Fringe – Hey, do you know who does an amazing Leonard Nimoy impression? Anna Torv, that’s who. Even though William Bell is (apparently) dead and Nimoy is (supposedly) retired from acting, his story continues on Fringe. Bell transferred his soul into Olivia Dunham’s body and asserted control of her body. That means that Anna Torv spent the whole episode talking like Leonard Nimoy. Her delivery and rhythm are absolutely dead-on, and she sells the (frankly bizarre) idea that she’s channeling Bell. We’re not going to lie, we wouldn’t mind having this be a regular thing – John Noble and a lady version of Leonard Nimoy teaming up to solve science crimes? Yeah, we’d watch that.
