Welcome back to our weekly roundup of our favorite things we watched this week, the increasingly confusingly named “The Best TV Shows on TV – TV’s Moments of Joy”. Even now we’ve got a group of linguists hard at work trying to develop a way to make the title even longer. Anyway, if you’re a new visitor, this is where we take a look at the best television shows of the week and run down the things that made us happy.
This was another week without our beloved Thursday comedy lineup, but there were still plenty of great TV shows to watch. And we don’t just mean the sheer weirdness of seeing David Cassidy, Jose Canseco, and Jose Canseco’s hairplugs team up against Richard Hatch. Though really, that’s pretty hard to top. This was a week in which the Top Chef kitchen caught fire and The Simpsons presented one of the more disturbing images in their long history. (If you saw it, you know what we mean. If not, we’ll just say eyeballs and leave it at that.)
Okay, I loved Raising hope this week. I thought the Brother Husbands was classic. I just posted a blog about that before reading this.
Also I am going to have check out Justified on Fx.
Im starting to love the weekend review
Thank you! And that’s a nice Raising Hope write-up on your blog! That wasn’t a show I expected to be as good as it is, and I just love it every week.
Thanks for reading – based on your blog, it looks like we enjoy a lot of the same shows. We’re TV Buddies!
